A grand crystal chandelier in the Louis XV style. Original circa 1910 Gilt bronze frame with 64 lights, with an antique finish, redressed in rock crystal by Dimitri Stefanov. Dimensions : Height 300 cm x 180 cm diameter.
All redressed and rewired in with rock crystal pendants. Made in the form of a cage with triple crown above, the central baluster is clad in rock crystal surrounded by sixteen lower arms forming the main cage each terminating in a rock crystal bobeche and candle holder from which rock crystal candle tubes arise. From this hang massive hand carved 30cm rock crystal plaques above which are beautiful rock crystal rosettes. Set inside this primary ring is an offset smaller ring of a further eight arms each terminating in the same lighting finish from which rock crystal half pear drops hang. Above this main cage is a smaller crown of sixteen rock crystal lights again with further rosettes and plaques which hang below each arm. Climbing further up the rock crystal clad baluster is a decorative second crown which again has eight huge rock crystal plaques atopped with further rosettes. The final upper third crown features a further eight bulbs surrounded by sixteen smaller arms each terminating in a rock crystal plaque and rosette. In total 64 bulbs illuminate this monumental chandelier. The lower baluster all terminates with large rock crystal dish below which hangs a large rock crystal finial. Every crystal and rosette has been lovingly repined by hand for maximum stability and longevity. This pair would grace any palace, museum, or stately home.

Exceptional Baccarat pair of rock crystal chandeliers in the classic style with unusual dimensions of 200 m in height, 1.2m diameter. Each chandelier is composed of 45 main lights and 16 pygmy bulbs. All from top quality rock crystal pieces framed with a gilt bronze. Rock crystal is made from quartz mined from the ground, and is usually quite cloudy. The receiver plate supports six candle arms each ending with slip over drop hung drip pans. The baluster stem rises up to crystal ball and then upwards an upturned crystal dish from which English crystal buttons festoon out to the 6 arms. Below the central dish hangs a diamond cut finial. The chandelier is beautifully draped with oval chains and round and teardrop shaped crystals. The chandelier is very unusual because the glass contains Manganese dioxide and lead crystal which deliberately gives the glass an Amethyst tint, this being said Nickel, depending on the concentration mixed with lead crystal, can also give a purplish colour.
Has been rewired to modern day standards and can be rewired for US specification at no additional cost.

A highly unusual and beautifully handmade oval design chandelier cut from steel plates with a nickel finish into an ornate and complex twisted briar design, this unique light would look ideal over a dining or coffee table. It features 12 lights positioned at different angles for maximum efficiency and aesthetics and is profusely hung in smoked and clear rock crystal which complements the unique frame design. It is all supported by a single centrally positioned load hook. It predominately features smoked rock crystal with a line of clear quartz running through the longest centre line of the chandelier.

Large beautiful regency Gasolier made from gilt bronze and Rock Crystal. Originally made in France with 36 lights. Arranged in 8 double pairs of lights each held by an angel with rock crystal drops below. 4 outward splayed lamps in the old gas arms with rock crystal dishes and large rock crystal bulb surrounds. These arms are arranged in two sets one longer than the other each with square pipes emitting from the mouths of lions. The entire design is of a basket style of rock crystal buttons dropping from an upper crown with acanthus leaves each finished with rock crystal twisted olives and large half pear drops. The buttons drop to a waist band in black and gilt below which further buttons are all gathered to a central point from which a central terminal rock crystal ball hangs. All lit internally by a total of 4 crown bulbs and at the waist a further 8 upward and 12 downward pointing bulbs. A total of 36 bulbs. The waist band has further gilt bronze swags surrounding the central band all beautifully restored and rewired to modern day standards.
