Crafted in France circa 1880, each vase is made of carved red marble and has a bronze base and decorative bronze mounts. The marble vases have been converted into table lamps and both have custom pleated white shades. The lamps are in excellent condition and have a rich gilt patinated finish for a truly elegant appearance. Custom shades not included.

There is also an additional matching pair that can be added to this pair if required.

A fine quality, four light, silvered bronze hall lantern, in the Georgian style. A foliate decorated ring above an urn issuing scroll supports, canted corners and arched tapering sides with glass panels.

French Brass Lantern, ”Part of a Set of two”

A beautiful brass and glazed lantern. The six sided lantern features 4 glass panels in each face with a diamond central panel and open triangular corners, base, top and side panels. Set on 6 ball feet and suspended above with 6 curved arms rising to a central ball from which hangs the lighting spindle that descends to hold 4 internal suspended bulbs. Above the ball is hanger attached to integral brass ceiling mount. Newly wired for UK use but can be rewired at no additional cost for US spec. Some faded patination as might be expected on an article of this age.

Beautiful pair of rose, clear & smoked quartz rock crystal table lamps

These beautiful and delicate rock crystal table lamps feature three types of specialist crystal. Rose quartz, clear quartz and smoked quartz. 5 lights in total.

The central stem features 4 quartz pieces a-topped by a large quartz dish from which rises the bulb holder. 4 lights further set equally around the midriff of the unit on quartz bobeches below which hang large solid leaf shaped quartz drops interspersed with delicate rose quartz half pears. The upper section features smoked and rose quartz lozenges all beautifully arranged from gold coloured hangers. A stunning example that would grace any house or palace.

Small Register Marked Faraday & Son Glass and Brass Strawberry Lantern

Faraday & Son light, the shade with applied drizzled cranberry glass in the form of a strawberry, circa 1900. The crown of hand wrought brasswork. English, 20th century.

The frame is register marked as Faraday & Son. Robert Faraday had a foundry in Wardour St. London between 1825-1919 and then it was sold to the Osler company. An important figure during the turn of the century in striving to produce safer gas lighting, and was a pioneer in manufacturing electric lamps.
