19th Century French Bronze and Rock Crystal Chandelier Candles 12
A magnificent Crowned 12 arm bronze and rock crystal chandelier dating from about 1870.
38 Lights. Featuring rock crystal candle tubes and drip pans with lights in the upper crown and internally illuminating the open cage frame supported in the centre by a baluster surrounded in rock crystal centre stems. 4 Unusual lamps sit on the inside of the lower tier with lights encased surrounded by excellent bronze work of fronded garlands. The extremely large rock crystal plaques with rock crystal petals above each plaque, that surround the upper and lower arms are of superb quality. All terminating beneath the lowest tier in a large rock crystal ball. A beautiful and unusual piece that would not look out of place in a stately home, museum or elegant private residence.
